Celebrating 150 years of the fair.....Savannah, Emma, and Trevor
The rides!

The champion punkin'...173 lbs.
Trev was very interested in the blacksmithing.
Rich always has to check out whats in the smokehouse......mmm bacon.
This was my favorite...an angora bunny. You couldn't even see his eyes or nose. The cutest thing I've ever seen!
We stood and watched this baby duck for about 20 minutes or so...wriggling his way out of the egg.
They had a parade towards the end of the day. We've never stayed so late before so we've never seen it. This was a really old steam pipe piano thing. I can't remember the name of it. It was really neat though.
Yesterday we took our traditional trip to the fair. It rained for the first couple hours while we were there, but it was actually nicer than going on a hot sunny day. It wasn't very crowded at all. We had so much fun... we were there for 9 hours! This is the first year that we haven't pushed a stroller around. And even after being there so long, not one of them complained about walking. We really just enjoyed all aspects of the fair this year and saw everything. But I think its always been mostly about the food for Rich, the animals for me, and the rides for the kids.
